Transfers at Fluminense: incoming, ongoing, and outgoing players for 2024 – Lance!
In 2024, Fluminense is preparing to defend its titles in the Carioca Championship and Libertadores. The club is also set to compete in the Recopa Sul-Americana, Brasileirão, and Copa do Brasil. With potential departures from the team, coach Fernando Diniz has started looking for new players in the transfer market.
Some players who may leave the team include André, who plays as a midfielder, and Nino, a defender who has received an offer from Liverpool in 2023 but is yet to be sold. Jhon Arias, an attacker, has also received an offer from Zenit and may leave the team. Cristiano, a left-back who has returned from a loan, is unlikely to stay in the team due to the presence of Marcelo and Diogo Barbosa in the squad.
David Braz, a center-back, is in the last year of his contract and may sign a pre-contract with another team. Lelê, an attacker, needs to be permanently acquired by Fluminense. Caio Paulista, a left-back, is currently negotiating his future, while Luiz Henrique, an attacker, has garnered interest from Fluminense’s rival, Flamengo.
Additionally, Fluminense has made an inquiry about Denílson, a midfielder from Cuiabá, but no official offer has been made. The club has already renewed the contracts of Felipe Melo and Fábio in 2023.
